Therapy

Therapy can help you feel better by building self-esteem, reducing anxiety and strengthening coping mechanisms. Therapy helps patients deal with the issues related to their mental health conditions which affect the rest of their lives.

I believe therapy should feel like an invitation — a safe, compassionate space where your most authentic self can emerge, without fear, without judgment.

My approach is rooted in deep curiosity, collaboration, and mind-body connection. Together, we’ll gently explore the patterns and pain that have shaped you — while also building the skills and resilience you need for everyday life.

Clients often tell me they feel truly seen, deeply heard, and supported in putting language to experiences that once felt overwhelming or hard to name.

Here, you don’t have to have it all figured out — you just have to be willing to start.

I am trained in equine-assisted psychotherapy — an experiential, somatic therapy partnering with horses to help heal trauma. I bring that same body-centered, relational sensitivity into the therapy room today.

I’m committed to cultural humility, inclusivity, and creating a therapy space where you feel genuinely respected, supported, and safe.

Before I became a therapist, I was a coach — someone people could count on to show up, listen, and help them navigate what they were going through, whether or not it had anything to do with the game. Over time, I realized that the conversations I valued most weren’t about performance — they were about identity, emotion, and connection. That’s what brought me to therapy.

I believe therapy should be a space where you can be real, not fixed, not pressured, not told what to do. Just met exactly where you are, with honesty and care.

As a first-generation Hispanic therapist, I understand how identity, family roles, and responsibility can shape your internal world. I work with teens, adults, and couples navigating everything from anxiety and disconnection to life transitions and relationship challenges. My approach is calm and steady, and I’ll challenge you when it matters — always with intention and support.

Before I became a therapist, I was a teacher, and I quickly realized that the most pressing challenges families face aren’t academic, but emotional. What kids bring into the classroom is shaped by what’s happening at home, in their relationships, and inside their nervous systems. That realization changed my path — and it led me here.

Now, as a therapist and a mom, I specialize in supporting individuals, couples, and parent-child relationships through life’s most tender transitions. Whether you’re adjusting to new parenthood, healing from trauma, or navigating identity shifts in your relationships, I offer a space where you can feel held, seen, and supported, without judgment or pressure.

I bring warmth, collaboration, and a direct style to my work, focusing on building strong, authentic relationships. For bilingual and bicultural clients, I offer therapy in both Spanish and English, and I understand how powerful it can be to find the right words in either language.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly a decade in the military, often being the person others came to when they didn’t know where else to turn. That experience—along with my own journey through trauma—shaped how I show up in the therapy room: grounded, open-minded, and deeply human.

Therapy, to me, is about having a space where you don’t have to pretend. Where your pain, your hope, and everything in between is welcome.

Trauma and anxiety can make it hard to connect with our most authentic, empowered selves—and sometimes even harder to see the joy and success that might already be within reach. I believe every person holds an innate capacity to heal, even when your strength feels out of reach. You don’t have to walk that path alone, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you, offering tools, support, and encouragement as you reconnect with your resilience.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and humanistic. I work somatically, meaning we’ll tune into how your body and nervous system are holding onto stress or trauma, and gently support release and regulation over time. I’m trained in Brainspotting, the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM), and also draw from attachment work, family systems, and mindfulness.

I’m especially passionate about working with trauma—whether it’s rooted in childhood, relationships, identity, or intergenerational patterns—and I love supporting teens and young adults as they find their voice and build self-trust in the midst of life’s uncertainty. I’m also passionate about perinatal mental health, and will bring a trauma-informed lens to this powerful, transitional season of life.

Healing doesn’t have to feel so far away. I’m here to offer a space that’s safe, real, and hopeful, where you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist, certified perinatal mental health specialist (PMH-C), and clinical supervisor with a deep commitment to supporting both clients and clinicians as they grow, heal, and evolve.

With over a decade of experience, I’ve worked across a range of settings — from foster care and pediatric crisis work to private practice and clinical leadership. My approach is direct, compassionate, and always grounded in the belief that healing happens in safe, attuned relationships — whether that’s in therapy or supervision.

I work with adults navigating complex trauma, identity shifts, and life transitions, and I specialize in perinatal mental health and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). I also provide clinical supervision and consultation to therapists who are ready to deepen their skills, clarify their values, and grow with integrity — not burnout.
